Objective
Tasked to select an artist, design various visual contents that reflects the artist’s style.
Solution
Dean is very unique modern R&B artist with eccentric sense of design. To emphasize his modern and uniqueness in concise and effective way, a slanted line through middle was chosen as main element. The VHS effect reflects his previous cover arts’ style, and moon that look like it’s been cut in half is reference to main track of the album 130 mood: TRBL, “Half Moon.”
